RNIP has been designed to cover certain skilled shortages in certain participating communities of Canada.
Each community has there owned immigration pilot program and have their own process. Communities launch the immigration programs at different times.

- Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan

- Vernon, British Columbia
- West Kootenay (Trail, Castlegar, Rossland, Nelson), British Columbia
